KAERI Thermal-Hydraulic Data Bank has been constructed for the unified operation and maintenance of thermal-hydraulic data base available in KAERI. The data bank provides the experimental data base for

	Verification & Validation of the code and code models/correlations through code assessments
	Understanding of thermal-hydraulic phenomena
	Planning and performance of thermal-hydraulic experiments

KAERI T/H Data Bank consists of USNRC ENCOUNTER and OECD/NEA CSNI Code Validation Matrix  data bases and the others that have been gathered in KAERI through international and domestic cooperations. KAERI will supplement the data base as the new experimental test results will be generated in KAERI and the new data base will be obtained. KAERI welcomes the contribution of T/H data base from domestic organizations for KAERI's unified maintenance.

T/H Data Bank is now open to MARS Users Group Members for better utilization of accumulated T/H data base. MARS Users can access the data base through a proper authentication process and download the data through Web. User identification is given to the representatives of a MARS Users Group Member Organizations. For getting the further information on authentication, please contact Dr. B.D. Chung.

<User Notes>

There are three types of files that user can access in the T/H Data Bank.
- *.txt file opens by clicking the file name
- *.pdf file opens by clicking the file name if with ACROBAT Reader
- *.zip file is transferred into download mode by clicking the file name

For the *.zip files, users are requested to UNZIP and convert the downloaded data at their platform. Program CONVERT that converts the T/H Data Bank data format into a spreadsheet format is provided Click here to download the CONVERT program. Exceptions are the files named as *_txt.zip. Users can view the data files in text format after the UNZIP.
